Basically there are two reasons for wanting to lose weight: you want to have the body of Britney Spears, being healthy or a combination of both. In other words aesthetic or health. It is important to be clear about our goal.

It’s healthy to maintain the correct weight. Overweight and obesity brings with it many health problems including diabetes, high blood pressure, triglycerides and cholesterol and heart problems.

Vanity and aesthetics. This is probably the most common reason we want to see pretty. The current fashion calls people pretty thin. This is actually a myth can be attractive to any weight and as we know Latino men like curves. But fashionable clothes, magazines and television are full of thin people. Being female and being flirty is therefore perfectly acceptable. However, we must bear in mind that although we are trying to lose weight should not expect to lose weight to feel beautiful, desired and loved, our self-esteem does not depend on our weight.
